Blend flour and shortening with dough blender until crumbly. Add water and
mix just until a ball of dough is formed. Do not overwork dough. Place on
floured surface and roll. Place in 9" pie plate and flute edges.
FILLING: Apples should be cut into pieces approximately 1"x1". Place apples
in a plastic bag. Add sugar and cinnamon. Seal bag and shake until all
pieces are coated. Pour into pie shell.
CRUMBS: Blend all ingredients until crumbly and pour evenly over apples.
Bake at 375° for 45-55 minutes. Serves 6-8.
