INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Cream the butter and Crisco until
creamy. Next add both sugars and beat until light and fluffy. Beat in the
eggs, one at a time and vanilla. Sift the flour, salt and baking soda
together; add to the butter mixture by tablespoonfuls. Stir in the
chocolate chips and mac nuts. Drop by the spoonful onto ungreased cookie
sheets. Bake for 6-7 minutes. Cool on wire racks. Yields between 3 1/2-4
