INGREDIENTS

1/2 c Margarine
1 c Sugar
2 Eggs
1 1/2 c Plain flour
1 ts Baking powder
1 c Brown sugar
1 c Nuts; pecans or walnuts, chopped

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix margarine, sugar, 1 egg, flour and baking powder. Spread in a 9x13 pan.
Sprinkle 1 c. nuts over batter. Beat egg white from remaining egg till
stiff. Add 1 cup brown sugar. Spread over batter and nuts. Bake at 350
degrees for 20 to 30 min. Cut into squares while hot.
