INSTRUCTIONS
* Please, NO margarine!!!
Beat egg yolks until light. Add milk and almond extract. Continue beating.
Sift the dry ingredients together and add to the egg yolk mixture. Add
melted butter and continue to beat. Lastly, very gently fold in stiffly
beaten egg whites. Bake in well heated waffle iron. Garnish with additional
mac nuts and powdered sugar. Serve with pure maple syrup, coconut syrup or
fresh fruit, such as sliced and sugared strawberries or mangos.
