INGREDIENTS

Green mongo (mung beans), boiled until soft |

Water (boil mongo in this) |

Cloves garlic, crushed |

Pork or smoked sausage, sliced |

Shrimp, peeled |

Knorr Tamarind Soup mix, dry |

Soy sauce |
INSTRUCTIONS
Boil mongo until soft. Saute garlic and onion in oil. Add pork and shrimp.
Saute for one minute. Add mongo and water/broth, soy sauce and soup mix.
Simmer until very thick. Add tomatoes in the last few minutes of cooking.
Serving Ideas : serve over rice with a few shakes of Tabasco
NOTES : Mung beans are also a staple in our house. This is one of my
filipino husband's very favorite dishes.
