INSTRUCTIONS
First Prize, OK State Fair. Cook together butter, sugar, and water in heavy
saucepan, until mixture turns caramel color: 300 F. Remove from heat and
stir in half the nuts. Pour into a buttered 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle
with half the chocolate chips, let stand for a few mins until chips melt.
Spread over surface of toffee. Cover with waxed paper. Turn dish over onto
surface and spread remaining chips, letting them melt, and then spread.
Sprinkle remaining nuts on top. When cool, break into pieces and store
