INSTRUCTIONS
This is an untried recipe for "fried" Mozzarella from Apr/May '95 issue of
Taste of Home. It won a prize in their cheese contest. Mary Merchant of
Barre, Vermont contributed the recipe.
In a small bowl, beat eggs and water. In a plastic bag, combine bread
crumbs, Italian seasoning, garlic powder and pepper. Coat cheese sticks in
flour, then dip in egg mixture and bread crumb mixture. Repeat egg and
bread crumb coatings. Cover and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Place on an ungreased baking sheet; drizzle with butter. Bake, uncovered,
at 400 for 6 to 8 minutes or until heated through. Allow to stand for 3 to
5 minutes before serving. Use marinara or spaghetti sauce for dipping.
Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
**Editor's Note: Regular mozzarella cheese, cut into 4 inch by 1/2 inch
sticks can be substituted for the string cheese. Posted to TNT - Prodigy's

A Message from our Provider:
“When Holy God draws near in true revival, people come under terrible conviction of sin. The outstanding feature of spiritual awakening has been the profound consciousness of the Presence and holiness of God. #Henry Blackaby”
