INGREDIENTS

1/4 c Butter
1 Medium-sized green bell
Pepper — diced
1 c Sliced mushrooms — (about 2
5 Ounces)
1 1/2 c Tomato — cubed
1 c Rice — whole or long-grain
1 ts Garlic powder
1 ts Salt
1/2 ts Black pepper
1 Can(10 5oz)
3/4 c Water
Chicken broth — condensed

INSTRUCTIONS

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium-high heat.  Add the green
pepper and mushrooms and saute for 5 minutes.  Add the remaining
ingredients, stirring until blended. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat
to low. Simmer, covered, for 30 minutes or until all the water has
evaporated.
Yield:  4-6 servings
