INSTRUCTIONS
I. Melt butter in a frying pan over a medium heat. Add onion and garlic and
cook, stirring, for 3 minutes or until onion is golden.
2. Stir in bacon and cook, stirring, for 5 minutes or until bacon is crisp.
3. Add mushrooms and cook, stirring, for 3 minutes or until mushrooms are
tender.
4. Blend in flour and cook for 1 minute. Remove pan from heat and gradually
stir in milk and cream. Return pan to heat and cook, stirring constantly,
until sauce boils and thickens. Stir in parsley and black pepper to taste
and serve with your favorite pasta.
Makes 2 cups .
