INGREDIENTS

3/4 Onion
1 1/2 Cloves garlic
1 1/2 tb Butter
12 oz Mushrooms
12 oz Cream cheese

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Peel onion and garlic and cut onion into 1-inch pieces. Cut cream cheese
into 1-inch pieces. Clean mushrooms. 2. In food processor or blender, chop
onion and garlic until finely chopped. Add mushrooms and chop fine. 3. Melt
butter in skillet and saute mushroom mixture slowly, stirring occasionally,
until mushrooms are dark and dry, about 15 minutes. 4. Remove from pan and
let cool, about 10 minutes. 5. Mix in processor the cream cheese and
mushroom mixture until smooth, about 45 seconds. Transfer to serving dish
or crock and chill at least 3 hours to allow flavours to blend. Serve with
crackers.
