Name: No-Bake Cookies
Ingredients: 1 1/2 c Sugar; 1/4 c Cocoa or instant hot chocolate mix**; 1/2 c Milk; 1/2 c Margarine; 3 c Quick cooking oats; 1/4 c Chunky peanut butter

Since the Scriptures tell us in several places that the Christian life is a life lived by faith (Rom. 1:17; Gal. 2:20), some may feel that personal resolve and strenuous effort have no place. While no one should neglect or minimize the necessity of faith as it relates to Christian sanctification, no one should forget that Christian faith is not passive. Christian faith works itself out through personal resolve, self-discipline, and effort.

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2	c	Sugar
1/4	c	Cocoa or instant hot chocolate mix**
1/2	c	Milk
1/2	c	Margarine
3	c	Quick cooking oats
1/4	c	Chunky peanut butter

INSTRUCTIONS

Boil sugar, cocoa(instant hot chocolate mix), milk, and margarine in a
large pan for 1 minute. Mix in oats and peanut butter. Drop by teaspoonful
onto wax paper. Refrigerate until set. Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
** Cocoa will make the cookies dark. If you want the cookies to have a
lighter colr, use the instant hot chocolate mix.
