Sour or buttermilk |
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine sugar, oats and flour. Cut in butter and lard as in making pastry.
Lastly add the soda dissolved in the sour milk. Work together till it forms
a dough. Then form into a large roll and chill at least overnight. Slice
very thin for a crisp cookie and place on greased cookie sheets. Bake at
