INGREDIENTS

1/2 t Salt
2 c Water
1 c Dates, pitted and halved

INSTRUCTIONS

Bring water to a boil.  Add salt.  Add rolled oats slowly. Cook over
low flame in a double boiler.  Cook 45 minutes. When done, add the
