INSTRUCTIONS
Heat the oil in a large saucepan and cook the onion with the cumin seeds
and cinnamon over a medium heat for 5-10 minutes, until the onion is
beginning to brown.
Add the lentils, coriander, chilli powder and turmeric.
Stir and cook for 2 minutes, stirring.
Add the water and stir, then add the tomato, salt and okra.
Bring to the boil, then cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes, until the okra
and lentils are tender, stirring occasionally.
