INSTRUCTIONS
Cover chicken with water & add salt. Simmer until tender. Remove. Sift
flour, baking powder & salt. Cut in shortening. Add milk to make stiff
dough. Roll until thin & cut into 1-inch squares or 1 to 1-1/2 inch strips
or diamonds. Sprinkle lightly with flour & drop into boiling chicken stock.
Cover tightly & boil gently for 30-40 minutes. Add prepared chicken &
continue to cook until chicken is hot. Yields 6-8 servings.
