INGREDIENTS

2 | c | Sugar |
1/2 | c | Baking cocoa |
2 | t | Baking soda |
1 | t | Baking powder |
1/2 | t | Salt |
1 | c | Vegetable oil |
1 | c | Buttermilk |
2 | Eggs | |
1 | c | Hot water |
Frosting of your choice | ||
Colored sprinkles, optional |
INSTRUCTIONS
In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients. Stir in oil, buttermilk and eggs. Add water and stir until combined. Pour into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan. Bake at 350° for 35-38 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool completely. Frost. Decorate with sprinkles, if desired.
