INGREDIENTS

3/4 lb Boneless beef round steak
trimmed and cubed
1 T Cooking oil
4 Potatoes, unpeeled cut into
l-inch cubes
5 Carrots, cut into l 1/2 inch
chunks
1 Celery rib, cut into 1 inch
1 Onion, cut into l inch
14 1/2 oz Chunky stewed tomatoes
3 T Quick-cooking tapioca
1 t Browning sauce
1/8 t Pepper, up to 1/4
1 c Frozen peas

INSTRUCTIONS

In a Dutch oven, brown the steak in oil. Add the next eight
ingredients; cover and bake at 300* for 4-5 hours, stirring twice.  Add
the peas during the last minutes of baking.  Exchanges: 2 Starch, 1
