INSTRUCTIONS
Festive flecks of green and red in a creamy spread add to the holiday cheer
of any special party. But with these pantry-friendly ingredients on hand,
you will also want to whip them up just for when friends drop in. Arrange
bread slices on a baking sheet; broil 1-2 minutes or until lightly browned.
Toasts can be stored in airtight container up to 24 hours.) In small bowl
stir together remaining ingredients. (Cheese mixture can be refrigerated in
airtight container up to 24 hours.) Turn toasts over. Spread heaping 1 tsp.
On untoasted side of slices; sprinkle with pepper to taste. Broil 6 inches
from heat, watching closely for 1-2 minutes or until browned and bubbly.
Makes 12 pieces.
