INGREDIENTS

1 Round steak (enough for 4)
1/4 c Flour
2 tb Shortening
3 md Onions; sliced
1 tb Vinegar
1 Clove garlic; minced
1 Bay leaf
1/4 ts Crushed thyme
1 ts Salt
1/8 ts Black pepper
1 c Water

INSTRUCTIONS

Trim meat. Combine flour, salt & pepper. Pound into meat. Cut meat into
serving size pieces. Brown in shortening. Drain. Top with onions. Stir in
water & remaining ingredients. Cover & simmer for 1 hour. Remove bay leaf.
