Dry white wine or sherry |

Dozen white onions; fresh or canned |
INSTRUCTIONS
Melt butter. Stir in almonds and brown sugar. Add pressed garlic,
seasonings and wine. Add onions and stir until well coated. Cover and bake
at 350° for 1 hour, stirring or shaking pan occasionally to coat onions.
Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
