INGREDIENTS
3 | Egg yolks, beaten | |
2 | T | White sugar |
2 | T | White vinegar |
2 | T | Pineapple juice or syrup |
from a can | ||
1 | T | Butter |
Salt to taste | ||
2 | c | Seeded grapes or drained |
pitted cherries | ||
2 | c | Pineapple chunks, drained |
2 | c | Mandarin oranges, drained |
2 | c | Tiny marshmallows |
1 | c | Whipping cream, whipped |
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine the first six ingredients in a double boiler. Cook and stir until thick. Do not boil! Fold this cooled sauce into whipped cream, then fold into the fruit. Place in a large serving bowl and garnish the top with fruit if desired. Place in refrigerator for 24 hours. Serve cold.
