Note: Original recipe used 2 Tbsp olive oil but it isn't needed Cook pasta twists according to package directions. Trim broccoli stems, and cut in 1/4" slices; separate florets. About 5 minutes before pasta is done, add broccoli. Continue cooking, stirring twice, until pasta and broccoli are firm-tender. Meanwhile, in large skillet, (if you were to use the oil add it now) add tomatoes, garlic and salt. Simmer 1 - 2 min more, stirring once, until shrimp are pink and cooked through at center. Remove shrimp mixture from heat. Drain pasta and broccoli and return to saucepan. Add sauce; toss to mix. To Microwave: Cook pasta and broccoli as directed. Into a 3 qt microwave-safe bowl, (add oil if you choose to use it) tomatoes, garlic and salt. Stir, then cover with lid or vented plastic wrap. Microwave on High 4 ~ 5 min, or until hot. Stir in shrimp. Cover and microwave on High 3 - 4 minutes, stirring once, until shrimp are pink and cooked through in center. Proceed as directed. This was very good and quite filling.
