Ingredients: 1 c Unbleached flour; 1/4 c Orange juice; 1 ts Baking powder; 1/2 c Maple syrup; 1 Egg; 3 c Fresh peaches; sliced, or 1 basket of raspberries; 2 tb Butter; 2 tb Cream

In our redemption by Christ we have the fullest, clearest, and most delightful manifestation of the glory of God that ever was or shall be in this life. All the declarations and manifestations that we have of His glory in the works of creation and common providence, are but dim and obscure in comparison with what is here. Indeed the glory of His wisdom, power, and goodness, is clearly manifested in the works of creation. But the glory of His mercy and love had lain under an eternal eclipse without a Redeemer.

INGREDIENTS

1	c	Unbleached flour
1/4	c	Orange juice
1	ts	Baking powder
1/2	c	Maple syrup
1		Egg
3	c	Fresh peaches; sliced, or 1 basket of raspberries
2	tb	Butter
2	tb	Cream

INSTRUCTIONS

Sift together flour and baking powder. Make a well in the center and put in
egg and butter; blend well. Add cream and orange juice, mixing thoroughly.
Blend in maple syrup. Pour batter into lightly oiled 5 x 9- inch loaf pan.
Sprinkle fruit on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
