Name: Peach Cobbler (Old Fashioned)
Ingredients: 3/4 c Flour; 1 ds Salt; 2 ts Baking Powder; 1 c Sugar; 3/4 c Milk; 1/2 c Butter; 2 c Sliced Peaches; Fresh; 1 c Sugar; Whipped Cream Or Ice Cream; Optional

Here let us pause. We may receive practically what we cannot explain theoretically.

INGREDIENTS

3/4	c	Flour
1	ds	Salt
2	ts	Baking Powder
1	c	Sugar
3/4	c	Milk
1/2	c	Butter
2	c	Sliced Peaches; Fresh
1	c	Sugar
		Whipped Cream Or Ice Cream; Optional

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Sift flour, salt and baking powder.
2. Mix with i cup sugar, slowly stir in milk to make batter.
3. Melt butter in a 8 x 8 x 2" baking pan.
4. Pour batter over melted butter. Do not stir.
5. Mix the peaches and 1 cup sugar thoroughly and carefully spoon them over
batter.
6. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
7. Serve hot or cold with whipped cream or homemade ice cream.
