2 | t | Baking Powder |
1 | c | Sugar |
3/4 | c | Milk |
1/2 | c | Butter |
2 | c | Sliced Peaches, Fresh |

INSTRUCTIONS
Sift flour, salt and baking powder. Mix with i cup sugar, slowly stir in milk to make batter. Melt butter in a 8 x 8 x 2" baking pan. Pour batter over melted butter. Do not stir. Mix the peaches and 1 cup sugar thoroughly and carefully spoon them over batter. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Serve hot or cold with whipped cream or homemade ice cream.
