INSTRUCTIONS
Cook peaches, sugar, water, cornstarch and cinnamon in saucepan until
thickened. Pour into a 3-quart dish. Stir in brown sugar and butter. Add
pecans and stir to coat. In a bowl, stir flour and sugar. Cut in
shortening. Make a well in center of mixture and add milk. Stir until dough
clings together. Knead 10-12 times. Roll out to 12-by-8-inches and spread
with pecan mixture. Roll up from long side. Cut into 12 circles and place
on top of the peaches. Bake at 400 for 25 to 30 minutes.
