2 c Sugar
1 c Light corn syrup
1 c Water
2 c Spanish peanuts
1/2 ts Salt
1 ts Baking soda
1 tb Butter
1 ts Vanilla

INSTRUCTIONS

Butter 2 cookie sheets. In large saucepan, combine  sugar, corn syrup, and
water. Cook until sugar dissolves, stirring constantly.
Add peanuts and salt. Cook to hard-crack stage (300F), stirring
occasionally. Add soda, butter, and vanilla; mix well.
Pour onto prepared cookie sheets; while warm pull to desired thickness.
When cool, crack into pieces.
