INGREDIENTS
| 1/2 | c | Chunky peanut butter |
| 1/3 | c | Shortening |
| 3/4 | c | Sugar |
| 1 | Egg | |
| 2 | tb | Milk |
| 1 1/2 | c | Sifted flour |
| 1 | ts | Soda |
| 1/2 | ts | Salt |
INSTRUCTIONS
Cream peanut butter and shortening; gradually add sugar, mix well. Beat in egg and milk. Sift flour, soda and salt together; add to creamed mixture. Shape into balls. Flatten on ungresed cookie sheet. Bake at 370 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cool. To frost cookies, add enough milk to 1 cup sifted confectioner's sugar to make of spreading consistency and frost cookies, if desired.
