INGREDIENTS

1 c Sugar
1/2 c Water
1/2 c Creamy peanut butter
Vanilla ice cream
Salted peanuts; (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

This came from Taste of Home magazine:
In a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Bring to a boil; boil one minute or
until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat, stir in peanut butter. Place in
a blender, blend on high until smooth. Cool slightly, pour over ice cream.
Sprinkle with peanuts if desired. Refrigerate any leftovers.
Yield: 1 1/2 cups sauce.
