INSTRUCTIONS
Combine the sliced cucumber in a large mixing bowl with the onion, pepper
and carrot. Add the salt and the sugar. Toss well and allow mixture to
stand at room temperature about 30 minutes to soften, then stir in the
vinegar and the celery seed. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Yield: 8 to
10 servings.
