INSTRUCTIONS
1. Peel and pit fresh plums and apricots; chop pimiento. Combine in a
saucepan with sugar, vinegar and applesauce.
2. Bring slowly to a boil, stirring; then simmer, covered, 1 hour.
3. Pour into jars while still warm and cap tightly. Store at least 1 month
in a cool, dark place before using.
NOTE: If the mixture is too thick, thin it slightly with water before
serving. Sweeten, if desired, with additional sugar.
