Sorry for the delay here CH'ers. Things have been hopping here at work.
The popcorn recipe(s) follow. I hope that you enjoy them, but they are
rather simple. Sometimes those things are the best. When I bring "Hot Corn"
to work I have folks from all over the company come around to get some.
Anyway, here goes.
Using regular Pop's Rite popcorn and chile oil, pop a batch. Season with
one of the following:
1. Adobo powder - I buy this stuff. The brand is Goya.
2. Fajita seasoning - Another commercial product. If I have the
ingredients down right, from just tasting, then all that is in this is
salt, pepper, garlic, msg.
3. My own stuff - This is my own mixture of freshly powdered dried Tabasco
chiles, sage, thyme, cumin, salt and garlic. The proportions are
APPROXIMATELY (see above)
Add these to an empty seasoning bottle, 2 oz, and then fill the rest with
chiles. Stir well. Then liberally dust the popcorn.
