INGREDIENTS

6 Pork chops
Flour and salt
Oil
1 Onion, chopped
1 T Butter
1 4-oz sliced mushrooms
1 c Raw rice
1 13.75-oz beef consomme

INSTRUCTIONS

Flour and salt pork chops; brown in oil. Saute onion in butter. Add
mushrooms. Place rice in casserole; top with onions and mushrooms.
Place pork chops on top. Pour consomme and small amount of water over
all. Cover tightly and bake at 350 for 1 hour.  MRS GILBERT BONNER
