INSTRUCTIONS
Nesco Roast Air Pots: I have a 6 qt. and also have the 18qt that is great
for baking cakes, meatloaves, bisquits, bread (just about anything in a
container that will fit on the rack), and larger size dinners.
Here is a favorite recipe I made last week in the larger one. You can also
scale it down for the smaller one.
Other seasonings: Can include garlic powder, onion powder, lemon pepper,
paprika, whatever. (I never make it the same way twice and it always comes
out good, no matter what I throw in!)
Preheat pot highest heat 15 mins. Brown ribs lightly, remove. Toss in
potatoes, onions and sauerkraut and brown a little. Add liquids and
mustard, scrape bottom, add seasonings, then ribs. Lower the heat to 350
and turn off fan. Cook at least 2-1/2 hrs., till meat is separating from
bones. Stir occasionally.
Note: Sometimes I throw in sliced carrots especially for the color. I also
top with chopped fresh parsley, if I have it.
