INGREDIENTS

2 lb Kale deveined and coarsely chopped
1/2 lb Chourico {preferably Portuguse but can use Spanish}
1 cn (14 oz) kidney beans
1/4 c Salt pork, diced
1 c Potatoes, cubed
1 md Onion, diced
1 ts Salt
1/2 ts Black pepper
6 c Water

INSTRUCTIONS

Saute salt pork and onions.Drain fat. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to
boil and simmer covered for 1 hour. Smash some of the potatoes to thicken
soup
