Cream shortening, add sugars gradually and cream thoroughly. Blend in
well-beaten eggs. Sift flour once before measuring. Sift flour, baking
powder, soda and salt together and add to the creamed mixture. Blend in
the vanilla, oatmeal, cheat cereal and coconut. Drop by teaspoonfuls on
well-greased baking sheet and bake in 375 F oven 12 to 15 minutes. Makes
about 5 dozen cookies.
