Dairy Salads 9 Servings

INGREDIENTS

2 1/2 c Boiling water
2/3 c Small red cinnamon candies
2 pk (3 oz) lemon gelatin powder
1 cn (1 lb) sweetened applesauce
1 pk (8 oz) cream cheese
1/2 c Mayonnaise

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine boiling water with the red hot cinnamon candies in saucepan; stir
over low heat to dissolve candies. Remove from heat; stir in gelatin. Blend
in applesauce. Pour half of mixture into a 2 quart mold or 8 in square pan;
chill until firm. Blend softened cream cheese with mayonnaise; add nuts.
Spread cheese mixture over chilled mixture. Pour remaining gelatin mixture
over cheese mixture. Chill several hours or until firm.
