INGREDIENTS
1 | Onion, chopped | |
1/2 | t | Salt |
1/2 | c | Uncooked rice |
1/2 | c | Cut-up cheese |
1 | T | Oil or shortening |
2 1/2 | c | Water or broth |
1 1/2 | c | Cut-up cooked chicken |
INSTRUCTIONS
Lightly brown onion in oil; add salt & water or broth. Heat to boiling and add rice. Cover and cook over low heat 50 minutes. Add chicken to rice. Heat. Sprinkle cheese on each serving.
