INSTRUCTIONS
Make short-crust pastry as given in Kitchen Secrets recipe.
Roll pastry into oblong, divide in two lengthwise.
Divide sausage meat in two.
Form into 2 rolls, each the length of the pastry.
Dust with flour, paste on pastry.
Roll each strip over to enclose sausage.
Close seam by making a decorative edge with knife or fork.
Brush with milk, cut into pieces 2 inches long.
Place on baking sheet, bake in oven at 400°F (204°C) for 15 minutes.
Lower heat to 350°F (177°C) for 15 minutes more to cook sausage meat.
Makes about 8 sausage rolls.
