INGREDIENTS
| 2 | Egg whites | |
| 1 1/2 | c | Sugar |
| 2 | tb | Burnt sugar syrup |
| 1/3 | c | Cold water |
| 1 | ds | Salt |
| 1 | ts | Vanilla extract |
INSTRUCTIONS
Place all ingredients except vanilla in double boiler; mix thoroughly. Cook, beating constantly with rotary or electric mixer, until mixture forms peaks, about 7 minutes. Remove from heat. Add vanilla; beat until frosting reaches spreading consistency. Ice cooled cake.
