This is in response to a request by someone for a rich, moist chocolate
cake. I think this recipe goes beyond that! This recipe is (shamelessly)
stolen from _The Seven Chocolate Sins_ by Ruth Moorman and Lalla Williams.
This book is guaranteed to satisfy (if not cure) any chocoholic.
Sheer Perfidy [ per-fi-dy: n., deliberate breach of faith, treachery ]
Melt candy in double boiler. In separate bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add
eggs one at a time and mix well. Sift flour and soda together. Add,
alternating with buttermilk, syrup and candy. Beat well. Add nuts,
vanilla and coffee. Bake in greased tube pan 1 1/2 hours at 350.

A Message from our Provider:
“When Holy God draws near in true revival, people come under terrible conviction of sin. The outstanding feature of spiritual awakening has been the profound consciousness of the Presence and holiness of God. #Henry Blackaby”
