Whole chicken, skinned (unless you want all that fat), about seven pounds (or bigger or smaller depending on the size of your slow cooker, adjust other ingredients accordingly) |

INSTRUCTIONS
Put the whole works into a slow cooker, making sure to put some of the
mushrooms and onions into the cavity of the bird. Cook for about 5 hours on
medium heat.
Toward the end of the cooking time, you can also put some potatoes and
carrots in with it -- they come out with a really nice flavor to them!
