INSTRUCTIONS
In a saucepan cook bacon until fat begins to render. Add ham, onion and
garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add beans and 1 cup water and bring to a
boil. Reduce heat and simmer until beans are very tender, 8 to 10 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper. Drain. Transfer to a warm dish for serving.
