INSTRUCTIONS
Good on their own, these can be served with fresh fruit or spread with jam.
Wrap individually in plastic wrap and freeze to reheat as need in a
toaster. Recipe can be used to make pancakes, also.
In large bowl, stir together whole wheat flour, baking powder and salt. in
separate bowl, whick peanut butter with honey; whisk in eggs, then milk and
vanilla. Pour over dry ingredients, stirring just until combined.
in 1/3 to 1/2-cup batches or according to manufacturer's instructions, pour
batter onto hot greased waffle iron; cook for 3-4 minutes or until golden.
Tip: substitute almond butter for peanut butter - but reduce milk to 1 cup
and add up to 1/4 cup more milk if necessary to make pourable batter.
Per Waffle: about 155 calories, 6 g protein, 7 g fat, 19 g carbohydrate
