DIPPING MIXTURE

Cream together shortening, sugar and eggs.
Measure, sift and slowly add flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.
Pre-heat to 400F Bake 8-10 minutes(8 minutes for me)
Roll into walnt sized balls and dip into mixture. Place 2 inches apart on
UNgreased cookie sheet. Bake untill lightly browned but soft. Cookies
will puff up then flatten.
Makes about 5 doz. takes about 8 minutes so be careful of the time. The
bottoms scorch easily). Makes about 4 dozen.
