INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix thoroughly the shortening, 1 1/2 cups
sugar and the eggs. Blend in flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.
Chill dough at least 1 hour. Mix sugar and cinnamon; shape dough by rounded
teaspoonfuls into balls and roll in cinnamon mixture. Place 2 inches
apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 15 minutes or until set. Immediately
remove from baking sheet. Note: I usually make my cookies bigger, about a
heaping tablespoon.
