INGREDIENTS
1/3 | c | Popcorn, unpopped |
3/4 | c | Brown Sugar |
1/3 | c | Butter |
3 | T | Light Corn Syrup |
1/4 | t | Baking Soda |
1/4 | t | Vanilla |
2 | c | Pecans |
INSTRUCTIONS
Pop the corn, removing the unpopped kernels. Butter a large baking pan and spread the popcorn in the pan. Sprinkle the nuts over the popcorn. Put butter in a large saucepan and melt over low heat so butter coats pan. Add brown sugar and corn syrup and cook to boiling for 4-5 minutes. Remove pan from heat and stir in baking soda and vanilla. Pour over popcorn and nuts, stirring to coat. Bake at 300øF for 10 minutes, stir and bake 10 minutes more. Cool completely.
