INSTRUCTIONS
Prepare macaroni and cheese according to package directions.
Meanwhile, cut tops off tomatoes, scoop out pulp. Place tomatoes, cut-side
down, on paper towels to drain. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine prepared macaroni and cheese, Spam, chives and
basil; mix well. In small bowl, combine onion powder and pepper, sprinkle
inside of drained tomatoes. Fill tomatoes with the Spam-macaroni mixture.
Place filled tomatoes in lightly greased 13- by 9-inch baking pan. Cover.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until tomatoes are tender and thoroughly heated.
This recipe yields 8 servings.
