INGREDIENTS
2 | Firm, small bananas peeled | |
1 | T | Lemon juice |
1/4 | c | Brown sugar, packed |
2 | T | Butter |
1 | ds | Ground cinnamon |
3 | T | Light rum |
Vanilla or coffee ice cream |
INSTRUCTIONS
Cut bananas in half lengthwise, then crosswise into quarters Drizzle with lemon juice. Heat brown sugar and butter together in a 10 inch skillet until sugar is melted and caramelized. Add bananas and cook slowly one to two minutes until heated through and glazed. Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon. Add rum, CAREFULLY ignite.
