INGREDIENTS

"red hots" cinnamon candy |

Boiling water |

Unsweetened applesauce |

Lemon juice |

(3-oz) cream cheese |

Milk (up to) |

Mayonnaise |

Chopped nuts (i use toasted almonds) |
INSTRUCTIONS
Dissolve candy and Jello in boiling water. Add applesauce and lemon juice.
Chill until partially set. Blend cheese, milk, mayonnaise and nuts. Swirl
into mixture. Chill until firm in a 9x12 pyrex dish. Cut into squares.
Serve with a dab of mayonnaise or just plain.
This is a delicious "make ahead" salad and goes with anything.
